Thank you Civil + Structural Engineering Magazine for sharing how Terracon harnessed the power of Senceive wireless technology on a challenging project: the construction of a light rail extension adjacent to a heavily utilized freight rail corridor in Minneapolis.
Terracon, led by the expertise of Luke Hanson, PE was tasked with finding a monitoring solution to provide regular track condition updates throughout Minnesota’s harsh winter conditions. They installed Nano Triaxial Tilt Sensors to provide regular, precise data updates on track geometry that enabled the team to keep the track open throughout the construction works.
