We are thrilled to announce the latest addition to the Senceive North American team, Jim Zammataro. Based in Ohio, Jim brings with him a wealth of experience and a diverse background that promises to be an invaluable asset to our company. He will focus on supporting our customers involved in Geotechnical and Instrumentation and Monitoring projects.
Jim's path into the world of construction testing and monitoring began in an unlikely place—he was a Fine Arts major at Ohio University. After a brief stint in advertising, he transitioned into sales of industrial products across various industries. This role served as his training ground for all things technical and paved the way for his move into the construction industry.
Jim's career in construction began as a Business Development Manager and Project Manager for Cleveland Electric Labs, where he specialized in selling large-scale fiber-optic bridge structural monitoring systems. Over the last decade, he served as the Worldwide Business Development Manager and Project Manager for Thermal Integrity Profiling (TIP) at Pile Dynamics. TIP is a cutting-edge integrity test method for cast-in-place foundation types.
He has lead notable projects such as the Indian River Inlet Bridge Monitoring System integration for the state of Delaware—one of the first wide-scale structural monitoring projects in the U.S. installed during construction—and the extensive TIP testing for the foundations of the Signature Bridge Project in downtown Miami.
Outside of his professional life, Jim enjoys spending time with his family, hiking, mountain biking, playing the electric guitar, composing music, and reading.
